HIGHLIGHTS

  • The flexible display phone concept is known as a “Adaptive Display Concept” by Motorola.
  • Fully opened and flat, the ideal device boasts a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED display.
  • Additionally, Motorola has released the MotoAI, which is compatible with PCs and cell phones.

Motorola unveiled a new flexible display concept phone at Lenovo Tech World ‘2023. The phone can take on a variety of shapes and sizes. Remarkably, Motorola claims that the flexible display may even be worn as a bracelet around the wrist! Motorola also unveiled the MotoAI assistant and a few more AI-powered features at the event in addition to the flexible screen.

Idea of a Motorola Flexible Display Bracelet phone

  • The flexible display phone design is what Motorola is referring to as a “Adaptive Display Concept.”
  • This is a result of the gadget’s ability to change forms and shapes.
  • The ideal device, when fully opened and set flat, has a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED display.
  • The “Adaptive Display” concept will become apparent as soon as you begin to bend the display.
  • The Flexible display is, as previously mentioned, wearable like a bracelet on the wrist.
  • If you remember, Motorola debuted a device like this back in 2016. It appears that the most recent model leverages on advancements made in mechanical and display technologies over time.
  • Whether the idea ever comes to pass is still up in the air.

MotoAI and Other AI Features

Lenovo, which is owned by Motorola, is also developing MotoAI, a personal assistant. It is reported to function on both PCs and smartphones. It appears that the AI will also assist users with message composition, task scheduling, and question answering. When the MotoAI would be seen in action is unknown, though.

An AI model that Motorola has further improved can provide a variety of AI-generated visuals depending on the clothing a person is wearing. Customers can set these pictures as their device’s wallpaper. You shouldn’t be concerned about privacy because the AI is supposed to operate locally on the device.

The Motorola Doc Scanner app will get AI capabilities and enhance the quality of the final image. In addition, this will make the picture look less wrinkly and shadowy. Additionally, Motorola is developing an AI Text Summarization tool that would condense lengthy messages, such as emails, articles, and chats.
