- E-Ink Prism 3 is a feature of E-Color Shift technology from Infinix, which was created by E-Ink.
- Users will be able to personalize the back panel of their smartphones with this new technology.
- According to the company, it is looking into ways to allow for up to 60 customizable zones.
A new E-Colour Shift Technology has been introduced smartphone manufacturer Infinix at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 Edition. The brand’s E-Colour Shift technology allows the rear panels of smartphones to alter and hold onto bright hues. According to the company, there is no power consumption in this process.
The goal of Infinix’s E-Colour Shift technology is to enable consumers to personalize the rear panel of their smartphones. This technology allows users to organize functions such as time, mood, and others in a matrix on the back panel of their smartphone. Let’s examine the specifics in more detail.
Infinix’s E-Color Shift Technology Enables Customisation on Smartphones
E-Ink Prism 3, a feature of the technology, uses microstructures made of color particles with positive and negative charges. Different voltages cause the electric field inside the microstructures to vary, which causes the associated color particles to move and display the appropriate color.
Because E-Color Shift technology doesn’t require power, Infinix promises that customers will be able to customize the rear panel of their smartphone without worrying about running out of battery life. According to the business, it is currently investigating the possibility of enabling up to 60 customised places on the hardware, each of which can support different colours, through a software program.
Infinix AirCharge Technology Showcased at CES 2024
Additionally, Infinix demonstrated their AirCharge technology, which enables 7.5W of device charging. The company’s unique adaptive algorithms and multi-coil magnetic resonance, which allow wireless charging up to 20 cm and at 60° angles, are the foundation of the AirCharge technology. The AirCharge technology operates at frequencies lower than 6.78MHz and incorporates protection circuits.
Because Infinix’s AirCharge technology eliminates the need for a physical connection to the charger, users can conveniently charge their devices while playing games or viewing videos.
Infinix Extreme Temperature Battery Technology Showcased at CES 2024
Additionally, Infinix demonstrated their Extreme-tech Battery technology. The problem of batteries dying in extremely cold temperatures is addressed by this technique. According to Infinix, the company is employing biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology in its electrodes to address the issue. This allows the batteries to function properly in temperatures as low as -40°C.
Users can charge the battery in -40°C to 60°C ambient temperatures thanks to this technology. According to the manufacturer, lithium-ion batteries cannot guarantee stable performance and endurance in extremely cold conditions, but the Extreme-Temp Battery can.
