Jio & Airtel are aiming to start recovering investments by increasing the average revenue per user (ARPU) through new upcoming 5G plans. But these upcoming plans will offer more data compared to current 4G plans, e.g. current average plans usually offer 1GB or 1.5GB/day. But upcoming plans will offer around 3GB/day.
5G connectivity offers higher bandwidth compared to its previous so the data consumption will also increase. Possibly existing 4G plans will also get a price hike in 2024. Reports also suggest, India is fastest 5G rollout Globally by achieving 100 Million users within a year.
