HMD is also entering the smartphone market this year with their own smartphones. Currently the company uses the Nokia brand to launch its device Globally. Company is expected to launch at least two smartphones which were already spotted on the IMEI database last year.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, Two smartphones from HDM spotted on IMEI with model number N159V and TA-1585. HMD’s first smartphone will be model number N159V but currently the moniker of the device isn’t revealed yet.
According to the design of HMD’s first smartphone, it will be targeted at the Mid-range price segment. HMD first smartphone rectangular camera module where Dual rear cameras, LED flash are placed. Device has matte textured back panel with “HMD” badging on the center of device. HMD’s first smartphone will come with a center punch-hole display.
HMD’s first smartphone has a flat edge with slightly curved design and rounded corners. On the right edge of the device there is a Power On/Off button and Volume rocker and On the left edge of the device there is a sim tray.
Earlier reports suggest, HMD smartphones will launch in India by April 2024. HMD smartphones will be aggressively priced and the company will first focus on the Online market.
