According to a report by ET News, Apple is speeding up the creation of the Apple Ring by filling patents related to smart rings. In November last year, a patent was submitted to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the electronic system used in the smart ring.
This technology involves a short-range communication circuit that can connect with other devices. It is anticipated to be utilized for controlling smartphones and tablets. An industry source noted Apple has consistently filed patents related to smart rings for several years.
Which indicates that the advanced development for commercial use process is on high speed.
Samsung is also working on its Samsung Galaxy Ring which is expected to launch in the Second “Galaxy Unpacked” of this year which is expected to be held in July. Where Samsung will also launch its Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
