Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor at the Snapdragon Summit 2024 event. This new SoC is the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Elite introduces enhanced processing power, revolutionary AI improvements, and a host of groundbreaking mobile innovations.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite specifications
- Processor: 64-bit architecture with 2 x Oryon prime CPUs at up to 4.32GHz, 6 x Oryon performance CPUs at up to 3.53GHz. 3nm process technology.
- Display: Supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz or QHD+ at 240 Hz. Maximum external display capabilities include up to 8K at 30 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. It also offers variable refresh rate support ranging from 240 Hz down to 1 Hz, along with a 10-bit color depth.
- Cameras: Up to 320MP single camera. AI-driven Qualcomm Spectra Image Sensor Processor.
