Qualcomm recently introduced its Snapdragon 8 Elite processor at the Snapdragon Summit 2024, and several brands have since announced devices featuring this new chipset. Among them, ASUS has officially revealed the launch date for its ROG Phone 9 series.
ASUS ROG Phone 9 series global launch date
During the Snapdragon Summit 2024, ASUS confirmed that the ROG Phone 9 series, the successor to last year’s ROG Phone 8 lineup, will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Later in a press release, ASUS announced that the ROG Phone 9 series will be globally launched on November 19th at 12:00 PM CET (4:30 PM IST).

Alongside the launch date, ASUS also shared official renders of the ROG Phone 9. The design is notably similar to the ROG Phone 8, featuring a flat display with a centered punch-hole camera and a rear triple-camera setup accompanied by a flash. Additionally, the right side of the device sports pressure-sensitive buttons, and at the bottom of the back panel, a new dot-matrix-style LED can be seen. Apart from these, further details about the device have yet to be disclosed.
