Google’s upcoming budget smartphone, the Pixel 9a, is expected to launch next year as the successor to the Pixel 8a. The device has been the subject of multiple leaks, and now, fresh live images have allegedly surfaced online.

The images were shared by fenibook (@feni_book) on X (formerly Twitter). The post features two photos that reportedly show a prototype of the Pixel 9a. Notably, the device sports a different logo on the back, deviating from the traditional Google Pixel branding.
The images reveal a horizontal dual-camera setup on the rear, positioned to the left, with an LED flash on the right. The front of the device features a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, flat edges, and slim bezels. These live images align with previously leaked CAD renders, further solidifying the design details. Overall, the design closely resembles its predecessor, the Pixel 8a, with minimal visual changes.

According to earlier leaks, the Pixel 9a is slated to launch in mid-March 2025. In the U.S., the device is expected to start at USD 499 for the base model, which offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
