OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch its first compact smartphone in China, potentially alongside the OnePlus Ace 5 series. Dubbed the OnePlus Ace 5 Mini, details about the device have been leaked by a prominent tipster.
OnePlus Ace 5 Mini leaked specs
Renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed key details about a mysterious OnePlus device in a recent Weibo post. Although the tipster didn’t specify the model’s name, speculation suggests it could be the OnePlus Ace 5 Mini.
According to the leak, the device is currently in its prototype stage. Its camera module features a minimalist, horizontally aligned small-matrix design, resembling the aesthetic of Google Pixel devices. Notably, the phone does not include a periscope zoom lens. Additionally, the prototype is being tested with a short-focus fingerprint sensor, while discussions are underway to explore the integration of single-point ultrasonic technology.
