In a post on X (formerly Twitter), tipster Jukanlosreve claimed that “Samsung aims to ‘significantly’ equip the Galaxy S26 with Exynos chips next year.” This suggests that Samsung may stick to its dual-chip strategy, which involves using Exynos processors for select models and markets while reserving Qualcomm Snapdragon chips for others.

The leak indicates that Samsung could equip the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ with the Exynos 2600 chipset, while the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon processor. This strategy mirrors the approach taken with the Galaxy S24 series, where non-Ultra models were powered by Exynos in some regions, and the Snapdragon chip is used in the Ultra variant.

The Galaxy S26 series is expected to debut in 2027. For context, the upcoming Galaxy S25 series is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor across all its models. Meanwhile, Samsung’s foldable lineup, including the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Galaxy Z Flip 7, is tipped to incorporate the in-house Exynos 2500 chipset.
