Samsung is all set to host its Galaxy Unpacked event 2025 on January 22nd. We will see the official arrival of the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones at the event. Even before the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, we have now got a leak claiming the battery tech of the Galaxy S26 series, which is supposed to launch in 2026.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series tipped to use the new Silicon Carbon battery tech
Almost all Chinese smartphone manufacturers have adopted new-generation silicon carbon battery technology. This new tech allows the manufacturers to store more energy in less or similar space, given that the new tech has a higher battery density capacity. Not that this tech allow the manufacturer to expand the battery capacity of the smartphones, but also helps them in reducing the overall thickness and in improving the in-hand field of the device indirectly.
However, Samsung was among the few brands that have not adopted the silicon carbon battery tech in smartphones. But now a new leak coming on the Internet claims that Samsung would be finally adopting the new silicon carbon battery tech in the Galaxy S26 series. According to the track record of the brand, the Galaxy S26 series is supposed to launch next year.
Well, we still have a lot of time before hearing an official announcement about the Galaxy S26 series, but it would be interesting to see how the brand takes advantage of new battery tech and what the users will be getting from it.
