However, according to a new leak, Redmi is already working on its successor, the Redmi K90 Pro, which is rumored to bring several notable upgrades.
Redmi K90 Pro Leaked Details
A post on Weibo by renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed key details about an upcoming smartphone. While the tipster didn’t explicitly name the model, he referred to it as the next-generation Pro device in the sub-series, which is likely the Redmi K90 Pro from Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi.
According to the leak, the Redmi K90 Pro will feature a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with a large aperture and support for macro photography. The phone is also expected to sport a flat 2K resolution display. In terms of performance, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chipset
While the tipster didn’t disclose additional details, it’s worth noting that the Redmi K80 Pro launched in China in November 2024. Following this trend, the Redmi K90 Pro is likely to debut in November or December 2025.
