- Blinkit is arguably the most popular quick commerce platform in India.
- It had previously partnered with Apple to provide quick delivery of iPhones.
- The platform has now joined hands with Xiaomi and Nokia for 10-minute delivery of their phones.
Quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart are rapidly expanding in India, primarily due to their exceptionally short delivery times of just 10 to 15 minutes, in contrast to the longer wait times often associated with e-commerce giants, which can exceed a day. One of the key players in this sector, Blinkit, has partnered with Xiaomi and Nokia to offer a 10-minute delivery service for their mobile phones.
Blinkit users will be now able to order selected Xiaomi and Nokia phones
The CEO of Blinkit, Albinder Dhindsa, in his X (Twitter) handle has confirmed their partnership with Xiaomi and HMD Global (Nokia’s parent company). As a result of this partnership, the users of Blinkit will be able to order selected Xiaomi models such as Redmi 13 5G, Redmi 14C and Nokia’s 105 phones. The phones will be delivered in just 10 minutes.
As of right now, the service is available in selected locations of Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The official also confirmed that more smartphones will be added in the upcoming days. Interested buyers of these phones can also opt for a No-cost EMI plan. This feature can be very useful for people looking to buy a smartphone in a hurry or in case of emergency.
