Apple introduced its AI-powered suite, Apple Intelligence, last year with the release of iOS 18.1. However, the feature has yet to be made available in India. Now, Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed that Apple Intelligence will officially debut in the country this April.
Apple Intelligence India Launch Timeline
Apple CEO Tim Cook has officially announced that Apple Intelligence, the company’s AI-driven suite, will arrive in India this April. This marks a significant expansion of Apple’s AI capabilities in the country, where users have so far had access to only a limited set of AI features, such as the Clean Up tool.
During Apple’s latest earnings call, Cook also revealed that the rollout will support multiple languages, including a localized version of English specifically tailored for Indian users. With this update, iPhone, iPad, and Mac users in India will soon gain access to AI-powered tools such as Writing Tools, Smart Reply, and ChatGPT integration.
However, Apple Intelligence will be available only on the iPhone 16 series and iPhone 15 Pro models. Currently, Indian users cannot access these AI features, but those with compatible iPhones can enable Apple Intelligence by adjusting their regional settings.
