Popular Apple insider, Mark Gurman, in his Power On newsletter, has reported that Apple’s upcoming service will be tied to iCloud and iOS 18.3 update. Since the iOS 18.3 update is already rolling out for devices, the service may be available sooner than expected.
In-depth information about the new feature remains unknown. But there was an early report by 9To5Mac reveals that Apple is working to launch a new “Invites” app. Mark Gurman, on the other hand, says that the Calendar app in iOS will be revamped by the company soon. But since this has no direct correlation with the upcoming feature, we can expect a new standalone app for it.
The newsletter further says that this new event-invite service by Apple could be rolled out officially as soon as this week. But since we don’t have any official information on the same, let’s wait a few more days to get more concrete information.
