Nothing is gearing up to launch its Nothing Phone (3a) series on March 4th, featuring two models, the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3a) lineup will be manufactured in India.
Nothing Phone (3a) Series to Be Made in India
According to the company, the Phone (3a) series will be assembled in India at its manufacturing facility in Chennai. Notably, Nothing has previously manufactured its smartphones, including the Phone (1), Phone (2), and Phone (2a), in Tamil Nadu, India. The company states that the Chennai plant employs over 500 workers, with women making up 95% of its workforce.
Additionally, Nothing reports that it has sold over 7 million units worldwide and recently surpassed $1 billion in lifetime revenue. The company currently operates 7,000 retail stores and 300 service centers across India.
