Samsung launched its Galaxy S25 series around the world at the Galaxy Unpacked event last month with a most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This time, they haven’t released a slim phone and instead they showcase an Edge phone which is likely to launch in April. Leaks confirmed the details of the Galaxy S25 Edge before the launch date.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to come with a 6.7-inches display along with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate which could be protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the top and Armor Aluminium frame on the side. Talking about the fingerprint sensor, it could be the ultrasonic.
The Galaxy S25 Edge camera is said to be a 12MP front camera with a central punch hole and a 200MP main camera along with a 12MP Ultrawide shooter at the back.
The device is said to be 5.84 mm thick, as confirmed by Smartprix and OnLeaks. When including the camera module too, the S25 Edge would be about twice as thick, at 10mm. That’s not to say that the device wouldn’t be thin enough, but surely, Samsung is trying to compete with Apple this time.
The Galaxy S25 Edge would be launching in March or April 2025, as stated by executives at the Unpacked 2025 event. The Galaxy S25 Edge would be sitting somewhere between the Plus and the Ultra, when it comes to the pricing. These are preliminary unofficial specifications, so take them with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for future updates on the same.
