After Meta took over the ownership of the popular messaging platform WhatsApp, it made a lot of changes to make it more compatible and interoperable with its other social media apps. The company is now reportedly bringing a feature wherein users can link other social media accounts directly to its WhatsApp profile.
Whatsapp will allow its users to connect their social media accounts soon
Popular WhatsApp feature tester and reporter, WABetaInfo has shared a report claiming that Meta is working on a new feature that will allow the users of WhatsApp to connect other social media accounts directly to their profiles.
The feature was reportedly spotted on the beta version of WhatsApp’s iOS application. However, the feature is not yet available for testing. Anyway, the report further states that a new section will be added under the Profiles tab from where the users will be able to link their other social media handles.
Since the feature is not yet available for the beta testers, it may take some time before the feature is finally made available to each one of us.
