OPPO is ready to launch its upcoming brand-new OPPO F29 and F29 Pro in India after rumours and leaks from different sources. The brand has finally confirmed the launch date which will be held on 20th March, 2025. However, the brand hasn’t announced the whole details and specs of the device yet, but they have revealed the back design and color options. The device will also get an IP69 rating as well. Here’s everything you need to know.
OPPO F29 Series India launch date confirmed
- OPPO F29 and F29 Pro are launching on 20th March at 12 Noon in India.
- The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart online and official OPPO website.
The OPPO F29 will be available in two color options: Solid Purple and Glacier Blue, while the F29 Pro in Marble white and Granite black colors.
OPPO F29 and F29 Pro key specifications
OPPO has confirmed the launch date of the OPPO F29 series in India with a new design change. While we already mentioned the launch date, let’s talk about the specs. Both devices OPPO F29 and OPPO F29 Pro are listed on the official website. The F29 ships with a squircle module on the back with dual camera sensor along with LED flash. On the other side, the F29 Pro gets a circular module pack with two camera sensors at the back and a front selfie camera.
The device will have a flat display and a centre-positioned punch-hole for the selfie. However, the brand claimed that the upcoming F29 series has been built to withstand India’s “challenging environmental conditions.” In addition, the device will feature a 360-degree Armour Body. Plus, the Sponge Bionic cushioning is claimed to absorb impact during falls to prevent damage. Also, the device will have a IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings.
The OPPO F29 5G is expected to ship with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, while the F29 Pro is expected to come with MediaTek Dimensity 7300E. Both phones will be powered by IP69 rating and 360° Damage Proof Armour Body. Talking about the battery, the OPPO F29 will ship with a 6,500mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charging. On the other hand, the F29 Pro will get a smaller 6,000mAh cell but faster 80W SuperVOOC charging.
The OPPO F29 5G is confirmed to get 8GB + 128GB/256GB storage options. Meanwhile, the OPPO F29 Pro gets an additional 12GB + 256GB variant.
