Earlier this week, Reliance Jio rolled out a Rs 100 prepaid plan where you’ll get free access to JioHotstar on mobile and TV along with 5G of data. But now the company has announced the Jio Unlimited Offer. With this plan, you will get access to a free JioHotstar premium subscription for up to 90 days to stream the upcoming IPL (Indian Premier league) in 4K quality on both mobile and TV. The offer applies to both new and existing Jio SIM users with a plan of Rs 299 or above. Here’s everything you need to know.
Claim free JioHotstar premium to watch free IPL 2025 in 4K quality
The Jio Unlimited Offer applies to both new and existing users on the pack of Rs 299 and above plans. If you want to claim this feature, you have to recharge your Jio SIM card with a Rs 299 pack or above, but if you are not a Jio user, you can get a new Jio SIM. The offer will be valid from March 17th to March 31st 2025. These plans will come with 1.5GB or more data per day. To claim the unlimited Jio offer, you can visit a nearby Jio store or Reliance Digital Mini or Jio retailer to get a new SIM or recharge your existing SIM card.
In case you’re getting a new Jio SIM card, then ensure to carry original Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) documents such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, etc. Although if you have recharged your Jio SIM for Rs 299 or above plans before March 17th then you may not get this offer as the offer is valid from March 17th to March 31st only. In this scenario, you can take a Rs 100 add-on pack to claim the offer and you’ll get access to free JioHotstar on mobile and TV in 4K quality.
The offer will be activated from March 22nd, therefore you can stream IPL in 4K quality from March 22nd. That’s the day the first IPL 2025 match begins with KKR v/s RCB. Additionally, you will get access to free home Wi-Fi for upto 50 days and truly unlimited 5G data.
