Today, Airtel has announced its IPTV (Internet Protocol Televisions) service across 2,000 cities in India. Although the company has released the service with different plans that you can select accordingly. Apart from that, the IPTV service is not fully rolled out to some states including Delhi, Rajasthan, and Assam. Here’s everything you need to know.
Airtel IPTV service: pricing
Firstly, let’s come to the price. Airtel is offering plans ranging between Rs 699 to Rs 3,999. Each plan will give you a different range of Wi-Fi Speed as well as they are offering TV channels and streaming apps. Interested people can subscribe to the IPTV plans using the Airtel Thanks app.

Airtel IPTV service in India: features and availability
The company has announced its first IPTV service in India after BSNL and it will be available across 2,000 cities in India. The company stated that users can easily access an extensive library of nearly 29 streaming apps including Apple TV Plus, Netflix, Zee5, SonyLIV, and Amazon Prime Video. Plus, users can access up to 600 TV channels.
The company is also offering up to 30 days of free service to Airtel customers on the purchase of IPTV service plans as a part of the introductory offer. Now coming to availability, the company has not confirmed which cities will get the IPTV service. However, the company has confirmed the service is being rolled out across India excluding Delhi, Assam, Rajasthan, and the Northeastern states. But the company claimed that they’ll roll out the services soon in these regions, maybe in a few weeks.
Additionally, the company claimed that new customers can easily get the IPTV services by purchasing the Wi-Fi plans from Airtel’s official website or its Airtel official store. For existing customers, they can upgrade their plans to access the lPTV services.
