OnePlus has announced the OxygenOS 15 OTA update for the OnePlus 12R yesterday with March security patch updates. The brand is rolling out the update for the OnePlus Nord 4 and Pad 2 users in India and it will be available in upcoming days. All three devices are currently running on the latest Android 15 software but the new OxygenOS 15 OTA brings some improvements and new features to the devices. Here’s everything you need to know.
OnePlus bring OxygenOS 15 OTA update for three OnePlus devices
Yesterday, a community software team from OnePlus shared a post on the OnePlus community about the latest OTA OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus Nord 4 and other devices. The newest model number comes with the model number OxygenOS 15.0.0.701 for the OnePlus 12R, Nord 4, and OnePlus Pad 2. This update brings the latest March security patch to all three devices which is up to date.
The update is currently rolling out for users in India in a phased manner and it will be available for other users in the next few days. The software team also shared that the new update brings the changes with new features. The latest update brings a feature to resize the home screen by dragging to 1×2 or 2×1. In addition, the update makes the animation faster for notifications and Quick Settings for a smoother experience.
Moreover, you will get the option to adjust the size and visual design of 2×2 and 4×2 third-party widgets in a 4×6 Home screen layout. The update also improves the process of resetting your privacy password. Everyone will be prompted to link their privacy password to their account. This will allow the user to use their account to reset the password and regain access to private data. For the OnePlus 12R and Pad 2, the update will be available in the coming days as per the report.
