Samsung One UI 8: new design and features
According to a report by Smartprix, the early build of One UI 8 was seen running on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
At first glance, the interface retains the core design elements of One UI 7, but some subtle visual refinements are noticeable.
The File Manager app now sports a refreshed Categories tab with a translucent background, giving it a cleaner, more modern look. Similarly, the Gallery app appears to adopt this translucent effect as well, with media categories like Videos, Favourites, Recent, Locations, and Shared Albums listed on the updated background.
It’s worth noting that this leaked version is an early build of One UI 8. Samsung is likely to make additional visual and functional changes before the OS sees an official release.
