Remember the popular green line fiasco? Almost all the popular brands like OnePlus, Samsung and Vivo’s devices were affected by it. The companies announced the free screen replacement for the affected users, and the South Korean tech giant also announced it for the S-series device users.
Samsung extends the free screen replacement plan in India
A tipster, Tarun Vats on X/Twitter, has shared some information related to Samsung’s free screen replacement program. In the post, he claims that he talked with the Samsung Support, wherein it was confirmed that the company has extended the green line free screen replacement policy till September 30th, 2025.
As per the information, the Galaxy S22 Ultra and S21 devices are eligible for the screen replacement. However, the brand has not yet revealed the full list of supported devices. But since the S-series device is there in the supported name of devices, we speculate that other S-series devices must be eligible for the program as well.
Users suffering from a random green line issue on their display can go to the nearest Samsung service centre to check whether their device is eligible for a screen replacement or not. Two main conditions must be fulfilled, and it is: the device must not be older than three years and should be free from any physical and water damage.
