As of right now, Apple has two official stores in India. One is in Saket, Delhi and the other one is in BKC Mumbai. Both the stores have received overwhelming response from the consumers. And now, the Cupertino based tech giant is reportedly looking to expand its retail footprint in India by opening two more outlets.
Apple is planning to open new stores in Noida and Pune
As per a report by The Financial Express, Apple is looking to open up a new retail outlet in the Mall of India located in Noida. The company is also looking to open up another store in the Kopa Mall, Pune. These stores would be part of the firm’s second phase of retail expansion plan in India.
But that’s not all. Apple has reportedly finalized the location in Noida and Pune and is also simultaneously looking to open two more stores in Bengaluru and Mumbai. For reference, the company recently posted a slew of job openings on the LinkedIn platform.
A total of 20 openings were posted and out of which, 8 positions were for Apple retail. This again hints that the company is looking to grow its offline or retail presence in the country. The company is also looking to manufacture more Apple devices in the country.
