Xiaomi has reportedly started the development work on the next iteration of its flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 16 series. There will be three devices in the series: Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro and Xiaomi 16 Ultra. The base model and the Pro model are expected to launch in October this year, and the Ultra will follow later.

A new report, courtesy of the tipster Smart Pikachu, tips that the upcoming Xiaomi 16 will pack the largest battery ever seen on a smartphone with a 6.3-inch display. He also says that it will be the most beautiful small, straight screen device. The bezels around the display are also said to be very narrow.
On the rear, it will pack a 50-megapixel triple rear camera. One of the leaks recently revealed that the Xiaomi 16 will feature a floating telephoto lens instead of a periscope or regular telephoto.
