The smartphone market is about to get more interesting as OnePlus prepares to expand its popular Nord series. Known for offering premium features at accessible prices, the Nord lineup has become a favourite among value-conscious buyers. Now, fresh leaks and certifications suggest two new models are on the horizon – the Nord CE 5 and Nord 5.
OnePlus Nord CE 5 and Nord 5 to launch in India soon
The OnePlus Nord CE 5 has appeared on India’s BIS certification with model number CPH2717, hinting at an imminent launch. Reports suggest it will bring a significant battery boost to 7,100mAh while upgrading to a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. The display is expected to remain a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED panel, with camera improvements including a 50-megapixel main sensor.
The OnePlus Nord 5, on the other hand, is expected to pack a flagship-grade Dimensity 9400e processor with 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display. Camera specs include a 50-megapixel OIS main sensor and 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It may feature a 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging.
Both phones will launch via Amazon India and OnePlus stores. The CE 5 should start at Rs 24,999, while the Nord 5 may begin at Rs 30,000. Official announcements are expected soon.
