Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14, has been released by Vivo. In India, a selection of Vivo and iQOO phones will support it. First, though, let’s learn about the new Funtouch OS 14 features. Features of Funtouch OS 14
Personalisations
- The lock screen clock may be personalized using three different layouts, eight different fonts, and intelligent color choices.
- You may download and use 90+ Always-On Display designs from the built-in Theme Store.
- You can designate distinct ringtones for each of your phone’s dual SIM cards.
Productivity
- Improved video editing features, including 25 new filters and original quality export in resolutions up to 4K at 60 frames per second.
- Enhanced video playback features, including the ability to establish a loop, playback in full screen, and the ability to take screenshots of the movie.
Multitasking
Through floating Mini Windows, enhanced multitasking is possible with up to 12 app instances. Additionally, you have the choice of suspending with a side swipe and can move the windows across the screen.
Smoothness
- RAM Saver releases up to 600MB of space, ensuring quicker app startup times.
- With Extended RAM 3.0, you can have up to 36 apps running in the background on a phone with 12GB of RAM or up to 27 apps on a phone with 8GB of RAM.
- App Retainer keeps apps in memory so you can pick up where you left off with them.
- When referring to motion blur in this context, it is meant to describe the increased animation speed of 18.7% at a 60Hz refresh rate when switching between apps.
Privacy
- Create a barrier to admission by hiding and protecting them using passwords. Google apps also support this.
- While you mirror screens to a larger monitor, notifications are not displayed.
