Recently, Reliance Jio announced the free JioHotstar premium subscription with the Jio unlimited offer to stream IPL 2025 in 4K. The company, Jio has announced many prepaid data plans including efficient cost plans with a free JioHotstar subscription. Now, Airtel and Vi announced the same. They will offer data including free JioHotstar. Although it comes under the prepaid plan only which means that users need to have an active base plan. Here’s everything you need to know.
Airtel, Vi announced new prepaid plans with free JioHotstar subscription, check details
Reliance Jio was first to announce a free JioHotstar subscription plan with their prepaid plans. Earlier this month, Jio has announced many packs with free premium JioHotstar subscription. They have announced a Rs 100 prepaid plan with a JioHotstar subscription and a Rs 195 cricket plan with JioHotstar. Plus, they have a Rs 949 prepaid plan with free JioHotstar subscription. Reliance Jio is the only one that provides different packs with free JioHotstar subscription as of now.
Bharti Airtel and Vi (Vodafone Idea) joined in the same category by rolling out similar prepaid plans with a free JioHotstar subscription. The plans are similar compared to what Jio offers on their prepaid data packs. The new Airtel and Vi data packs come with OTT benefits for Rs 100 and Rs 195. Let’s talk about Bharti Airtel first. Airtel announced a Rs 100 pack that offers 5GB data including with JioHotstar mobile subscription for up to 30 days.
Additionally, the Airtel Rs 195 prepaid plan offers 15GB data with 90 days of validity. Plus, you will get to access the free JioHotstar subscription for up to 90 days. Coming to Vi (Vodafone Idea), they are offering Rs 101 prepaid pack with 5GB data including 90 days of free JioHotstar subscription. The data plan will be valid for 30 days only, but you’ll get access to 90 days of JioHotstar which is similar to Reliance Jio prepaid plan. These plans need an active base plan recharge.
Other than this, Airtel and Vi offer other prepaid plans with free JioHotstar subscription. The Vi Rs 469 prepaid plan offers 2.5GB data per data with unlimited calls and 90 days of free JioHotstar subscription. Plus, Vi is offering a free JioHotstar subscription on a Rs 239 plan, giving unlimited calls + 2GB data and 300 SMS for 30 days validity.
