Google has officially begun the rollout of Android 15 for its Pixel smartphones. This latest Android update introduces a range of new features and improved security measures. As of now, the update is exclusively available to Pixel devices powered by Google’s Tensor chipset.
Android 15 features
- Private Space: The new Private Space feature allows users to create a separate, secure space on their devices to store sensitive apps and data.
- Low Light Boost: Android 15 also introduces several enhancements to the camera and media experience. The Low Light Boost feature improves photo quality in low-light conditions, making it easier to capture stunning shots even in challenging environments. Additionally, the operating system offers more control over camera settings in third-party apps, giving users greater flexibility and customization options.
- Adaptive Vibration: The Adaptive Vibration feature allows users to customize vibration patterns for different types of notifications, making it easier to differentiate between alerts. The operating system also includes improved accessibility settings.
- Enhanced User Experience and System UI: Android 15 offers a host of enhancements to the overall user experience. The App Pairs feature allows users to quickly launch split-screen app combos with pre-saved pairs, making multitasking more efficient. The Collapsible Volume Panel makes it easier to adjust volume levels without obstructing the screen, while the Persistent Taskbar for large-screen devices provides easy access to frequently used apps and tools.
