According to the leaks Apple will bring the USB Type-C in iPhone 15 series but at different speeds that means iPhone 15 Pro series will get the fastest USB Type-C Port and rest of lower variants will get the slower USB Type-C Port.
According to the Ming-Chi Kuo iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus will come with Standard USB Type-C Port that is USB 2.0 and it is able to transfer the data up to 480MB/Second.
iPhone 15 Pro series will get the USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3 and the USB 3.2 can transfer the data up to 40GB/Second and it might be possible to make a difference between the Standard & Pro Model of iPhone 15 series
If Apple will use the USB Type-C port in iPhone 15 series so for us and Apple users will get a Pros point that means Apple users didn’t have to carry a specific Lighting port cables to charge their iPhone 15 series devices so it will be a Pros point and specially for professionals who have many devices and it will also helps to reduce the plastic waste.
The Government of Europe has passed a rule that all devices Like: smartphone, tablet, camera, etc. Devices that were sold in Europe that devices have to be equipped with USB Type-C Ports for charging the rule will be mandatory from 2024, For the Laptops like device from 2026
