Home & Lock Screen, Customization
Locked and Hidden Apps: If you want to add icons freely around the screen, ditching the grid layout for a more personal touch. iOS 18 also allows you to change app icon color which offers an extra level of customization. By which you can set the app icon color like your wallpaper color theme.
Locked and Hidden Apps: iOS 18 allows you to lock specific apps with Face ID or Touch ID for an additional layer of security. You can also hide apps from your home screen.
Customization Option: iOS 18 also lets you customize your Control Center by adding or removing shortcuts to the features you mostly use. By this you can quickly access your frequently used apps.
Privacy and Security features
Lockdown Mode: This new feature is designed to protect users which are targeted from cyber attacks by strictly limiting certain functionalities.
New Password Manager App: Apple introduced its own password manager app to securely store and manage your passwords across all apple devices.

Photos gets a makeover: The Photos app gets a refresh with a unified view with new collections and improved memories creation tools.

Content Summarization: This feature, likely powered by AI which will offer quick summaries of articles, webpages in Safari, meeting notes, emails and text messages.
Notes App upgrades: The Notes Apps get some AI features like live audio transcripts and the ability to solve mathematical problems.
