Apple iPad Pro 2025 launch timeline and processor
Renowned market analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in a post on Medium, has shed light on the iPad Pro 2025. According to Kuo, the device will feature Apple’s upcoming M5 processor and is expected to enter mass production in the second half of 2025. This timeline indicates that the iPad Pro 2025 could hit the market by late next year.
BYD Electronics, based in China, will reportedly serve as the primary assembler of the M5 iPad Pro. Interestingly, BYD will also exclusively assemble Apple’s upcoming display-equipped HomePod, anticipated to launch by the end of 2025.
The M5 chip is expected to bring an upgraded ARM architecture and will be manufactured using TSMC’s cutting-edge 3-nanometer process. Although Kuo did not provide specific details regarding design or feature enhancements, he reaffirmed Apple’s commitment to maintaining its annual update cycle for the iPad Pro lineup.
