According to a report by Mark Gurman via Bloomberg, Apple is set to unveil its new iPad Pro, iPad Air in early May but currently the exact launch date isn’t revealed. Earlier The source mentioned the March – April launch timeline, now the reports suggest the launch of iPad Pro, iPad Air in early May.
iPad Pro models are expected to be powered by new M3 chips with OLED display and redesigned Magic Keyboard and Pencil. iPad Pro models have been codenamed J717, J718, J720 and J721.
iPad Air was last updated in 2022 with the M1 chip, Now the new iPad Air will come with a new processor and the device also available in 12.9-inch.
Apple’s suppliers are currently increasing production of the new iPads and Apple is currently focusing on completing the software for the new devices. OLED iPad Pro models require intricate manufacturing techniques, which have contributed to the delay, report added.
A recent report mentioned that the OLED displays instead of the current Mini-LED panels are expected to result in a slimmer design for the iPad Pro models. Additionally, new iPad Pro models might include a landscape-oriented Face ID camera.
