iOS, iPadOS, and macOS to Get a Fresh New Look This Year
According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is working on redesigning iOS, iPadOS, and macOS this year to make their design language more consistent across different devices. This will enhance the user experience and provide more consistency, according to people familiar with the effort.
At present, the design of the windows, app and other transition styles are different across iOS, macOS and visionOS. This makes the users difficult to switch between those devices, but now the company is planning to address this design with its next design overhaul. Apart from that, Apple is not just planning to change the design of the menus, applications, buttons, and system icons, but they are also working on how users can easily control and interact with their other devices.
Moreover, the report indicates that this update will be the most significant macOS release since macOS Big Sur in 2020. Regarding the availability, Gurmam says that Apple is expected to bring the redesigned iOS, iPadOS, and macOS at Worldwide Developers’ Conference (WWDC) 2025 that is expected to take place in June this year. Therefore, we can expect a new fresh look on iPhones and other Apple devices with its operating system and it will enhance the user’s experience.
