Apple is planning to release the Apple Vision Pro outside of the US market ahead of WWDC (World Wide Developer Conference) 2024. Apple hosts the WWDC in June every year, so Apple Vision Pro could be available outside the US around May. Apple Vision Pro will be available for purchase from February 2, 2024 in the US.
Apple Vision Pro outside US launch details
According to a report by Ming-Chi Kuo via Medium, Apple plans to share more development details about the Vision Pro ahead of WWDC 2024. In order to accomplish this, Apple will launch Vision Pro outside the US market ahead of WWDC to promote the global development ecosystem of VisionOS.
The reasons for this include a limited supply of Vision Pro, a smoother sales process in the US and the time to adapt the algorithm to comply with regulations in other Countries. When these things will be resolved Apple will launch the Vision Pro in other countries.
Apple entertainment launching with Vision Pro
Apple has introduced a variety of entertainment experiences that Vision Pro users can enjoy with the official launch of the Apple Vision Pro which is on February 22nd. Apple Vision Pro users will be able to watch Apple TV+ originals and content from popular streaming apps and channels with help of Apple TV app and VisionOS.
Apple TV app also comes with Cinema Environment feature which can transform the space into a personal theater and options to customize your seating preferences like front, middle, or back row.
Apple Vision Pro users will have access to over 150 3D movies from the world top studies such as Avatar: The Ways to Water, Dune, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and more.
Apple Vision Pro also includes Apple Immersive Video, featuring 180 degree 3D 8K recording captured with spatial audio support, enabling an immersive audio experience. Apple has also developed a new app, Encounter Dinosaurs allowing users to peer into the Cretaceous period over 66 Million years old when the dinosaurs are alive.
