Blinkit now delivers Airtel SIM Card in Just 10 Minutes to Customer’s Home

Bharti Airtel has announced the partnership with Blinkit to deliver an Airtel SIM Card in just 10 minutes. As we all know, Blinkit is one of the popular ecommerce platforms that can deliver a variety of products including electronic appliances to your home in just 10 minutes. Blinkit was the first to offer an Airtel SIM Card to a customer’s doorstep. However, the service will be available in 16 cities in the country. Here’s everything you need to know. 

Airtel has partnership with Blinkit to deliver Airtel SIM Card in 10 minutes 

Today, Bharti Airtel has announced a partnership with ecommerce platform Blinkit to deliver an Airtel SIM card in just 10 minutes to a customer’s home. Airtel is the first telecom to provide this service in India across 16 cities. The main aim is to obtain a new SIM card for customers without going to official or retail stores. 

The service support for both prepaid and postpaid plans. Plus, it supports Mobile Number Portability (MNP) for customers switching to the Airtel network. However, customer’s have to pay Rs 49 as a convenience fee while collecting the Airtel SIM card from the delivery person at the doorstep. The SIM card can be activated through Aadhaar-based Know Your Customer (KYC) authentication. Customers are provided with an online link and an activation video that will help them to go through the activation process. 

The service is currently available in 16 cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Bhopal, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur and Kolkata. Airtel has claimed that they’ll expand the service to other cities and towns in the future.
