ChatGPT Voice feature is now available for free users

ChatGPT is undoubtedly one of the most popular AI chatbots out there. It has been getting updated at regular intervals. An update has been pushed out for ChatGPT’s beta testers on Android, enabling them to use ChaGPT as the default assistant on Android devices, replacing Google.

ChatGPT can now replace Gemini on Android to become the default assistant

AndroidAuthority, in its latest report, claims that the latest beta version of ChatGPT’s mobile app adds a new feature that allows the users to set OpenAI’s chatbot as the default virtual assistant on Android devices.

On most of the Android devices, Google Gemini serves as a default virtual assistant. Enabling ChatGPT and making it the default assistant would prevent the users from triggering Google’s Gemini or Google Assistant.

Once users set ChatGPT as the default assistant, they will be able to access and trigger ChatGPT using a similar gesture needed to trigger Gemini or Google Assistant. Since the update is only available to beta users, not every user can access the function for now.
