Nothing is ready to launch its Nothing Phone (3a) Series on March 4th, 2025 that will be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and a circular design camera with periscope telephoto zoom lens. A new phone from the sub-brand now appears on the BIS certification on the official site, the CMF Phone 2. This is likely to be a mid-range smartphone unlike the Phone 1. The model number was previously spotted on the official IMEI database. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming CMF Phone 2.

CMF Phone 2 By Nothing Listed on BIS Certification

The CMF Phone 2 is listed on the BIS certification spotted by 91mobiles with model number A001 on the official BIS website. However, the model number is totally different from the CMF Phone 1 model number, that is A015. Plus, the CMF Phone 2 is said to have a Galaga codename.

While, the CMF brand hasn’t confirmed any other details of the CMF Phone 2, so if any leaks or rumours appear, we will post this here, so you can get to know more about it in the near future.

Regarding the specifications, no details have been released for now, but many leaks suggest that it will come up with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. We don’t have a strong leak behind this but since Phone (3a) is now coming with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, it’s not possible anymore that CMF Phone 2 will also launch with the same chipset as Phone (3a) series.

Talking about the price range, the CMF Phone 1 was launched at ₹15,999 in India. We can expect a slight increase in price but not more than ₹20,000 as the CMF Phone stands for budget segment.

CMF Buds 2 Plus Appears on FCC Certification

Apart from CMF Phone 2, CMF Buds 2 Plus appeared on FCC certification with a model number “B184” as per the official website (via MySmartPrice). The box will come in the square shaped design unlike CMF Buds 2 with a rotating dial. In addition, the case also has a ‘CMF by Nothing’ branding at the bottom right corner.

The rotating dial is expected to be a “Smart Dial” where you can adjust the volume level of your device, control playback, and other customizations from the Nothing X app itself. Plus, the TWS earphones dimensions would be 73mm x 64 mm with 105g of weight. In terms of design, the earbuds will have a semi-in-ear design, although, it’s not confirmed yet that it will get silicone ear tips.

According to the leaks, the earbud will be a 53mAh battery and the storage case will be powered by a 460mAh unit. Apart from that, the case is said to have a 3W input support and a 1.2W output. Moreover, the Buds 2 Plus will have Bluetooth Classic and Low Energy connectivity features. Other details are still unknown, but If any leaks appear, we will update you here. Stay tuned!
