Recently Google launched its Google Pixel 7a along with many other products in Google I/O. Now the Google Pixel 8 visits Wireless Power consortium (WPC) certification website with 12W Wireless Charging.
Google Pixel 8 model number is GKWS6 and the device has been certified by Wireless Power consortium (WPC) and the Pixel 8 will come with Qi wireless Charging support and Wireless Power consortium (WPC) certification confirms the Pixel 8 has maximum 12W Wireless Charging speed. Which means the Pixel 8 will not come with new Qi 2 Wireless charging technology.
For now for the Pixel 8 Pro there isn’t any confirmation that the Pixel 8 Pro will come with Qi 2 Wireless charging technology or not. Recently 91Mobiles revealed the first looks of Google Pixel 8 series. In terms of design of Google Pixel 8 Pro it looks similar to its Predecessor: Here is how it looks.
Google Pixel 8 Series: What things we know so far
Google Pixel 8 series will be powered by Google Tensor G3 SoC, its code name is “Zuma” and the Google Pixel 8 will come with FHD+ display with 2268 x 1080 resolution display, Google Pixel 8 Pro will come with 6.52-inch display. In the camera section Google Pixel 8 Pro has: 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor.
This time the Google Pixel 8 Pro will come with a built in thermometer sensor to measure your body temperature on the go conditions. In the camera module of Google Pixel 8 Pro there is a Infrared sensor after the LED Flash.
