Google launched its Google Pixel Fold in Google I/O back in May last year. Now the company is working on Google Pixel Fold 2 and its design revealed through “Engineering Validation Test (EVT)”. Google Pixel Fold 2 will be powered by Google Tensor G4 SoC, offer up to 16GB RAM, Expected to launch with Google Pixel 9 series.

According to a report by Android Authority, Google Pixel Fold 2 will come with a different camera module. The device has a slightly broader than square camera module where two pill shaped sensors cutout with LED flash are placed.

Google Pixel Fold 2 is expected to come with Primary sensor, Ultrawide sensor, Periscope Telephoto sensor. In the leaked images a Quad camera setup is appearing but currently it isn’t confirmed for the fourth sensor for which purpose it will use. Google Pixel Fold 2 is in “Engineering Validation Test (EVT)” so the actual product at launch will be different.

Google Pixel Fold 2 also looks less broader than its predecessor, Pixel Fold 2 will come with similar dimensions like OnePlus Fold. Report also added, Google Pixel Fold 2 will also come with less bezels on the Primary display along with a cutout of the front camera.

Google Pixel Fold 2 is expected to run on Google’s Tensor G4 SoC and the device is expected to launch along with Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro instead of Google I/O like its predecessor. Google Pixel Fold 2 engineering sample is running on 16GB RAM to handle intense tasks with ease.
