Google rolls out Deep Research models for free users
The latest experimental versions of Google’s Gemini, the 2.0 Flash, 2.0 Pro and Personalization (experimental) are being made available for free users. Users across Android, iOS and the web will be able to access the experimental version without paying for anything.
These new models are supposed to bring improved functionality and overall efficiency. It also promises to provide better speed and performance, compared to its predecessor. The new Personalization version allows more tailored and accurate responses as it uses Google’s search history for reference before putting out an answer on the table.
Making it available for free users is part of Google’s broader testing program which allows them to fine-tune the models as much as possible.
