Honor has officially revealed the launch date for its upcoming flagship Magic 7 series smartphones, which will succeed the Magic 6 series released in January 2024. Alongside this, the brand also announced the release date for its MagicOS 9.0 software.

Honor Magic 7 Series and MagicOS 9.0 launch dates

According to a recent Weibo post by Honor, the Magic 7 series will be launched in China on October 30. The upcoming lineup is expected to include at least two models, the Honor Magic 7 and Honor Magic 7 Pro. Once the devices are launched in China, they are also expected to be introduced to global markets, although specific dates for the international rollout are yet to be confirmed.

In addition to the smartphone launch, Honor also revealed that MagicOS 9.0 will be unveiled on October 23. The new operating system will be based on Android 15. The company’s teaser for MagicOS 9.0 carried the tagline “Witness the magic of AI,” suggesting that AI-powered features will play a prominent role in the user experience.

  • Battery & Charging: 5,800mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 66W wireless charging support.
  • RAM & Storage: LPDDR5X RAM paired with UFS 4.0 storage.
