SwaRail, the super app of Indian Railways is here!
Indian Railways has officially announced that a super app, called the SwaRail, has been developed by the Centre for Railways Information System (CRIS). The app brings the integration of all the railway services into one single platform, therefore eliminating the need to use different apps for accessing different railway services.
The super app can do multiple things such as train ticket booking, unreserved ticket booking, platform ticket booking, freight enquiries, PNR and train live status checking, food ordering and online railway complaints.
Users can use their existing UTS or IRCTC account credentials to log into the app. As of right now, the app is in beta testing phase. The stable version is expected to be rolled out in the upcoming weeks, once the testing gets wrapped up with no major flaws.
