Infinix showcased some new technology for their upcoming smartphones at MWC 2024 including Infinix’s gaming smartphone, Infinix CoolMax, Infinix AirCharge, Infinix Extreme-temp battery.
Infinix Flagship gaming technology
Infinix’s new gaming technology functions on four key aspects to deliver extreme gaming performance, these factors include Processor, Cooling, Graphics, AI Optimisation. Infinix Showcased its smartphone with Mediatek Dimensity 9300 SoC with its CoolMax technology by the Infinix upcoming smartphone scores 22,1,639 on AnTuTu.
CoolMax technology uses thermal-electric cooling (TEC) and the Peltier effect to efficiently regulate temperature. TEC essentially uses electricity to create a temperature difference between two surfaces. Which in this case is likely the heat generation component (chipset) and the cooling plate.
CoolMax technology claims to drop the device temperature up to 10 degrees Celsius. Infinix is also using Pixelworks visual processors to provide refresh rate of up to 180Hz on FHD+ WQHD+ display coupled with 144Hz refresh rate.
Infinix AI Algorithms dynamically adjust core utilization based on different scenarios, basically using bigger cores when gaming and smaller cores during normal tasks.
Infinix Charging Technology
Infinix also introduces two new charging technologies and they are Infinix AirCharge and Infinix Extreme-Temp Battery. The AirCharge is a magnetic-resonance-based wireless charging technology and the Extreme-Temp battery is designed to support charging in extremely cold temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius.
Infinix Flagship gaming smartphone
Infinix plans to launch a dual-core gaming smartphone which is Infinix GT Ultra and the device is expected to be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 9300 SoC along with some extra gaming technology and features.
