Instagram recently introduced a new Edits app that lets users to create and edit videos using the tools and features listed on the app. Previous reports indicate that the company was planning to bring an edit app and now they have officially rolled out. The Edits app is available for both Android and iPhone users. With the Edits app, users can easily edit videos on their smartphones. Here’s everything you need to know about the Edits app.

Instagram introduced a new Edits app to create and edit videos effortlessly. The app comes with five individual tabs at the bottom: Ideas, Inspiration, Projects, Camera and Insights. With the Ideas tab, you can add stickers, saved reels and collections. This mainly helps you to add notes to the saved reels. Talking about the Inspiration tab, the tab lets you watch reels with trending audios that you can use to create and edit on your videos.
The project tabs lets you choose video to edit by using the tools and features. You can choose multiple projects at a time to create. When you select a video to create, you will get several tools like Audio, text, overlay, captions, SoundFX and many more. Plus, you can choose resolutions up to 4K and 60 frame rate. Once you completely edit your videos, you can export the video by tapping on the Export button located on the top right corner.
The fourth tab is the Camera tab that lets you create videos directly by using the audio and other tools. You will get an option to zoom out and zoom in to your videos. In addition, you are able to set a timer and change the background that will turn into a green screen. With the Camera tab, you can create a high quality video with accurate frame rate. Lastly, you will get an Insight tab that shows engagement details of the video.
The Edits app is available to download on Google Play Store and App store. The brand is currently working to improve the Edits app. In future, the brand will roll out new features and tools on the Edits app. The company also stated that new features will change the look of the videos and many other things that will enhance the user’s experience.
