Here’s what Meta has announced about new Instagram features and it’s currently rolling out to everyone. If you are a beta user then you can utilize this feature from the chats on Instagram.
Scheduling Messages Feature
Scheduling messages is a convenient feature that lets you schedule specific messages on Instagram under a chat. When you schedule a message on a particular time-period, the scheduled messages will be automatically sent to the selected user on a selected time period.
To use this feature, open the Instagram DM and type the message you want to schedule and then hold down the send button and schedule option will appear on the screen. Simply, select the date and time period and tap on send button to schedule a message.
PIN Instagram Messages
Another crucial feature is the ability to PIN messages on under a specific chat on Instagram. If you like a message on a chat then you can pin at the top. This could be a video clip, text messages, or a image.
To use pin messages feature, open the Instagram and tap on the DM content you like to pin, and a box of options will appear. Now tap the PIN option to pin the content on the top of the chat. You can unpin the messages or clips just by holding and press the pinned content and then select the Unpin option.
Sharing Music in the Chat
You can also share musics natively on a chat on Instagram. All you have to do is tap on the Sticker button under a DM chat and then choose Music option and then you have to select the message or just tap on the search option to find the music you’re looking and it will send to the user automatically under a chat. It’s one of the crucial feature if you want to send a song or music without using the third-party services.
Message translation in the Chat
Instagram lets you translate messages in the chats directly that supports up to 99 languages. To use this feature, hold and press on an DM message and then select the translate feature. Now you’ll get a translation of the text content that you input in your selected languages.
