Apple is reportedly planning to launch the entry-level iPad 11 early next year. A new report has revealed the timeline of the next iPad from Apple. Let’s take a look at all the details.

Apple iPad 11 launch timeline

According to a report by 9to5Mac, the iPad 11, which will serve as the entry-level model in Apple’s tablet lineup, is likely to be unveiled early next year. An anonymous source on X, known for a strong track record of accurate leaks, has revealed that Apple plans to introduce the iPad 11 around the same time as the public release of iPadOS 18.3. The device is expected to come pre-installed with the new software.

While details about the iPad 11’s specifications remain limited, the report suggests that the tablet might feature Apple’s in-house modem, designed to support both Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity. Additionally, the device is rumored to include Apple’s Intelligence features, first introduced by the company in December.

Notably, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman hinted at a similar timeline in his October newsletter, speculating that the new iPad could launch by spring 2025. However, with multiple credible sources now pointing to an earlier launch, it seems increasingly likely that the iPad 11 will arrive sometime between January and March next year. Whether Apple will stick to a January release or aim for later in the quarter remains to be seen.
