Relevant supply chain insiders tell South Korean media outlet Naver that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus might have 6.69-inch and 6.12-inch LTPS 60Hz screens, respectively. In the meantime, the Pro models are said to have the true difference. Photos of the purported iPhone 16 Pro battery prototype were leaked by Kosutami San on X.com. The battery’s frosted metallic cover and 2.5 percent larger capacity than the previous model are visible in these photos.
The iPhone 16 Pro versions may at least see a change in battery cover from black foil to metallic if the leak proves to be accurate. Better thermal efficiency could result from this without a significant weight difference. This change has already been observed in the Apple Watch Series 7 models.
