iPhone 16e teardown video reveals ‘similar’ internal design
The YouTube channel of REWA Technology has uploaded the teardown video of iPhone 16e on the platform. The teardown video starts by removing the two screws placed at the bottom side on either side of the Type-C charging port.
The wireless charging coil can be seen on the back panel, though the device doesn’t support MagSage. The camera structure takes a very little space as there’s only one camera on the rear side.
The teardown video confirms that the iPhone 16e has a 4005mAh battery. Some reports, on the other hand, claim that the device has 3961mAh battery but the teardown video says otherwise. The front camera arrangement looks very similar to that of the iPhone 14. The logic board shows A18 chipset and C1 network modem. The video, in the end, confirms that repairability of the iPhone 16e could be easier and that the screen component is compatible to the iPhone 14.
